Mindfulness and Social and Emotional Learning at St. Timothy
At St. Timothy School we strive to promote health, wellness and mindfulness. Our goal is to promote positive and inclusive learning environments in cultivating the social and emotional wellbeing of our students. We use a variety of resources to help develop resiliency and regulation, that may be integrated in multiple subject areas. These resources include selections from Character Strong, Cosmic Kids and of course our Religion curriculum. Below is a e-book of some resources to try at school or even at home. Note that that resources best suited for younger students are at the beginning of the e-book, with senior student resources available at the end.

As part of understanding our social and emotional wellness, we explore identifying our emotions and the Zones of Regulation. Below is a set of posters developed here at St. Timothy for our senior students. Each poster is designed to help students identify their emotional state and strategies for moving through that emotion.
